Questions labs ask us
Do I need to install anything?
No. Patholix runs in your browser on any computer, tablet or phone. You only need an internet connection, plus a barcode printer and scanner if you want to use barcodes.
Can I use my own tests and prices?
Yes. Your account starts with common tests, parameters and reference ranges that you can edit. You can also import your full test list from a spreadsheet.
Is my patients' data safe?
Each lab's data is kept separate and is visible only to that lab's staff. All connections are encrypted, pathologists can turn on two-step sign-in, and backups are taken every day.
How do patients get their reports?
By WhatsApp, or from your lab's patient portal using a one-time password. Every report has a QR code that anyone can scan to check it is genuine.
Can I run more than one branch?
Yes. Add branches and collection centres under one account, each with its own invoice series. How many you can add depends on your plan.
How do I pay?
By UPI, debit or credit card, or net banking through Razorpay. Labs outside India can pay in US dollars through PayPal. You get an invoice for every payment.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Plans are prepaid and do not renew automatically, so you simply stop renewing. You can export all of your lab's data at any time. See our cancellation and refund policy.
